Thanks for the information. Now I'm off to try and fix my inoperable windshield wipers! Not the fuse, I checked that.

Randy, do you remember this thread?
We've been through this. Gotta get your electrical system core cleaned. Flexplate pressure released, endplay checked.

Its not the LH. Its not anything your mechanic thinks it is.

[QUOTE=shiva1;8115793 Suggestions?[/QUOTE]

Shiva1: you were asked about the MY. For all we know you don't have a Hall sensor b/c early cars don't have it. My suggesion is to put MY and location in your sig line. Go to User CP, then edit sig line.

Had intermittency, de/re-attached ground strap, solved it for a while. Then it happened again and he got talked into LH rebuild. Now its still happening again, but everytime he de/re-attaches the ground strap he gets a few more miles out of it. Wonder what it could be?

So here is a very easy way to see if it is the ground strap/grounds. When it happens again, disconnect the LH and EZK connectors in the passenger footwell and do not touch any of the ground points or strap. If the problem is still there when you reconnect, the ground strap is it.

Good idea, didn't think of that.
Could still be the engine ground points, too and CPS.

I guess its real hard for some folks (me included in the past) to believe that things so trivial, and sometimes a daisy chain of them, can cause such problems.

Hang in there Shiva1, you will solve it.
