Default OEM Blaupunkt radio for '78

When I purchased my '78 in 1986 the OEM radio/cassette ( Blaupunkt Autoradio Porsche CR Stereo Typ US) did not work because a second component that the head plugged into was, is missing. PET shows it --it looks like a component the size of the radio head. Does anyone have the complete radio from an OB or know of someone who would be interested in selling either the whole package or the second component? I would like to have the original radio/cassette in working order regardless of however outdated. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

I have the original Blaupunkt radio/cassette from my 78 that I'd be willing to part with. It was with the car when I got it, but not installed. I was told by the PO that it worked fine (he had a newer unit put in) but I have not tested it. It looks like it has everything, and looks okay. What's a fair offer? Shoot me a pm if interested.

Here's the amp that was underneath the passenger seat on my '79. That's the 2nd part of the radio you see in the PET diagram.

That 60 watt amp was fitted to a much later 928 and not the early 78 to 80 cars.

The seperate unit was an integral part of the radio and housed electronics for the radio. The complete unit was to big for the radio so they split it.

Roger,
If you have a line on an original early radio, let me know.

PS. I wouldn't be posting this unless I knew the OP was taken care of, which he is.

I have the original radio from my 79. I believe it works but it came with the car as the PO replaced with a newer unit. Not sure what it's worth. I can take pictures of it when I get home. If memory serves it's a model 3002 or something like that.
