Default Got my first speeding ticket in the 82 today.

The car was running so well today. Voltage was solid and steady all day, the first time since April. Injectors were firing nicely, plugs were firing strong, throttle response was insane, I hit a straightaway on an old country road (55 speed limit), goosed it, blasted past a cop doing 72, busted. $151 total fine. At least it's not due until after Xmas.

dude, you should unwrap those intake runners and start running normal octane gas or you are gonna get those all the time.

I'm sure I speak for the community when I say that we don't condone speeding. 72 MPH? Are you CRAZY?!? Shame on you!

It was a quick burst of speed, a few seconds......at just the right time.

To bad you have admitted to speed here, otherwise you could contest it.

I would blame the thinner than recommended motor oil.

Yeah, it's the heavily doped oil at fault.

If I drove a diesel jetta I would not speed as much. (NOT)

But I drive a 928 the same as any sports car, because I want to speed,
because I don't care about the shortage of carbon fuel (I work for a oil company)
I don't believe cars are the biggest polluters.
Because I believe some gov desk jockey said hey lets put 55 on this road and 75 on this other road (different state)

now to call someone CRAZY for 72 get back in your chuck wagon.

IMHO

I prefer rounding up to the nearest '5'. Shame on you for holding back.

I had Commander Weatherly in my sights... we were only below the hard deck for a few seconds... there was no danger... I had the shot... so I took it.

Now don't do that again, son.
