Is this the typical bright green antifreeze?? Also is the Zerex the best or only one to use, or will Prestone, etc. work as well?? I was going to flush my system before it gets too cold, so I am also interested in what is the correct one to use.

The right side of the radiator is the HOT SIDE the upper hose blasts it into that end tank. The air bubble albiet very small is NOT going to be hotter than the uncooled coolant. The passenger left side is the cool side after the coolant has exchanged much heat into the air and is ready to go back into the engine and do it all over again.

Have the end tanks been replaced on the used radiator? If not, it may be a temporary fix. Replacing the end tanks is not that difficult to do and the cost is only around $150 for the tanks and seals IIRC.

I was at a local NAPA and they had cases of it. Was a bit surprised to find it on Long Island. They don't have 50/50 though.

Amazon.com has it in both 50/50 and full.

Free shipping with $25 or more purchase.
