looking to buy 928, trying to decode vin.

I am going to look at a 83 928s and trying to find out if it has a lsd. I have heard something about you can run the vin through PET and find out the options, but have been unable to do it. Can someone run this vin and find out what options such as lsd? vin# WP0JB0923DS862027

Sorry I was worked up trying to find this info and forgot to introduce myself, being new to this forum.
I am new to 928's but have owned a few other porsches, I am shopping for a 928 now as a fun daily driver to work and back, that I can play around with upgrading as I use it. I have always liked the 928 but now feel I must have one.
Well anyway thanks for any help you can give and thanks for this wealth of knowledge on here.

Running the VIN does not show the LSD as an option but that is not unusual.
Using the VIN filter does highlight the LSD parts so there is a good possibility it does have LSD but not a guarantee.
Best to jack the rear end up and spin a wheel.

I think a jack and spin, or healthy dose of throttle will have to be the way to find out then.

Its not a ROW model, clearly indicated by the VIN which, if it were a ROW car, would begin "WP0ZZZ92Z" for all years after 1980.

And 13th digit would be 4 instead of 6. ROW 2027 for '83 MY would be WP0ZZZ92ZDS842027 but such car do not exist as largest VIN '83 MY ROW was WP0ZZZ92ZDS841972.
