Relax, I'm just having fun late on a Sunday night. I'll be curious to see if anyone helps you out on this.
Um, yeah. If you have nothing good or substantial to say then why say anything at all. I understand your trying to prove a point but I dont care. Ive owned a lot of fast cars and this 928 isnt on the top of the list. I was just wonderig if anyione had one of these pony cars or drivin one thats all. Sorry to have created such a disturbance in the 928 force.

Yeah, they are tight. I'm 6'4" and the car is really too small for me, but I squeeze in because this was the car that I wanted as a teenager (posters on the wall and all that). I can't wear a helmet without popping the sunroof. The S4s puts out 300HP and the V8s put out an underrated 350HP. They aren't very fast by today's standards, but they look fast (and the wedge shape is classic), LOL.

my daughter has a 2004 mustang gt and though I have rarely gotten to drive it, it does well off the line but runs out of breathe at 90 or so, where as the 86.5 should start moving up around 65 to 70. I am not much of racer though

I agree with the part about not engaging in any meanigful way with an "ex-con, white trash" (your words, not mine). If this is what the guy really is, then why interact? I wouldn't have anything to do with him.
If you have a hard on for a Mustang race, look up the local Mustang Club and invite some of those guys out. I have both, and love each car (my stang is an 06; I've had an 05 and an 07 Shelby GT). They are very different cars, but both alot of fun.

It's not just about how fast you can go. What will happen if you crash? Which car would you rather be in? I used to have these arguments with my muscle car friends all the time. It's not just how fast can you go but how well can you stop, how well can you corner, how well can you survive a wreck. Do a search on Willhoit's wreck in an 80's 928 many decades ago. The car saved his life.

It will be close if you drag from a standing start and he is a good driver. 1999 Mustang GT is 5.5 0-60 and 14.1 in the 1/4 mile. 5 speed 85 - 86 928 rated at 5.9 0-60 and 14.2 in the 1/4 mile. On a roll on the highway, you will beat him handily as the Mustang runs out of breath quickly but they are quick from a standing start if driven right.

Very early on a Sunday morning I came up behind a 2010 Mustang GT on an entrance ramp. Waiting around for him to take the clover leaf ramp I noticed the paper tag was dated the day before. There was no traffic on the highway we were getting on and both stomped it as the ramp straightened out. I just signaled pull into the left lane and passed him. Then I kinda felt bad for the guy with his brand new GT when he pulled into the dealership a couple of miles down the highway.

ahhhh, I also forgot it was the 2011 Mustang that had the huge bump in HP to keep up with the Camero SS and the Challenger. I thought it was the 2010, but you're right, it was 2011.

Dude across the street, total white trash just got outta the pen bought him a 99-2002ish mustang GT. He lied and told me it had a Cobra engine in it because he had to replace the faulty plastic intake. I opened the hood and seen what looked like a stock SOHC 4.6. He is always going on about how bad it is and ****..... I told him I would show him a true 32v'r if he wants to se it and he balks at it. He braggs about having 4 wheel disc brakes, lol..wow old school. Im guessing hes running the stock 260HP GT engine but I know he has put 245/40/17 whels on there. So just curious how would he hang with me?
It will be fun when his friends show up and want to check out your garage.
