No, you threw me a bit with the thread hijack comparing a 996TT to a 928.
(We were all discussing how we would spend Steve's money, second guessing and all.)
996 represents junk. 928 is built for longevity.

I am only at 6 psi non inter cooled and an auto tranny. Many here with 450 - 500 to the ground.

I think it will be faster. Had a really good run in last fall against a modified 996TT. He was faster but not by much.
Let's say the owner was "a little" suprised to way the least!

99-00 996 are garbage, I agree. the 01-05 996 arent bad and the 996tt is pretty badass.
