928 Car Covers
Guys,
I am searching for a GTS car cover... I looked through all the threads on it (and there are several) but I didn't see pics of any of the ones folks listed.
SO, POST YOUR PICS of indoor car covers for 928's. In particular a cover that will be form fitting for a GTS.
Thanks guys!

The lady that is looking for one just sent me an email and said the car lives outside under a car port in FL. I prefer the look of the nice form fitting covers, but really they don't have to be form fitting, especially when inside.
So, since this one lives sort of outside, would it be a good idea to do a nice soft form fitting "indoor" cover and then putting a more weather proof outdoor covering over that one? In only ever covered one of my cars because it had to live outside for a few years. The interior still got VERY HOT and the already poor dash became absolutely terrible. It was fully in the sun, no car port or anything. Also, even covered, it would get VERY DIRTY. Just thinking if I had done a form fitting cover and then the weather proof cover it might have stayed cleaner. Dash still would have been toast, but it was bad anyway.
Thanks guys for the current info and I'll pass on the Griot's garage info on the indoor cover. Now lets think of outdoor covers that are also nice.

Costco has a good quality cover for just $34.99. Get the medium , not form fitting, but an excellent fit none the less.

I had the GT outside on and off for the better part of a year, the first month or so it was under one of the factory Porsche covers. That sucked for outdoor, the car got filthy even though it never got rained on. The nightly condensation/dust combo made a mess of it. So I splurged for a Covercraft Weathershield HD, but selected the model for the GTS. It was a little loose in the rear on the GT, but fits the GTS perfectly, as it should for $382, from Autogeek.com.

So you have to unscrew the antenna, not a big deal...

James,
Got mine at California Car Cover Company
http://calcarcover.com/
Form fitting right down to the side mirrors and rear wing.
I think I ended up getting plushweave. Good for indoor (garage) storage.

Thanks for all the info guys, I have passed it along to Rosy. If/when she gets one or more covers I'll let you know and hopefully have some pics of them too.

I have about a dozen 928 car covers (seriously.)
For an outdoor car:
Weathershield car cover over a Noah cover. The former is very, very weather repellent and home-machine washable. The latter is thick, durable and will protect the finish from minor bumps, but isn't washable except in commercial equipment and can only be washed a few times before its done. Both breath.
Don't get a generic cover. Don't get a cover that doesn't breath.
Last, the antenna unscrews...
