Default horn ring

anyone have a junked steering wheel that has the horn ring intact...mine is worn & I need to replace it...it is held in place by 3 screws...the tang which rides against the ring wore out & had knife edge on it which shaved the brass off the ring...I can repair the tang, but I need the brass ring assembly...it also has a a protrusion on it that trips the turn signal...

Get a new one, it's worth it. And also note that in the WSM it says DO NOT use any kind of lubricant on it when you install.

after you fit your new horn ring,
then remove the lower steering column cover,
and with the steering wheel set on the shaft,
adjust the TS switch for the correct depth.

From the wear,
it looks like the switch has to be moved towards the front of the car,
you want the tab on the switch to just touch the wheel ring
