I'm a norcal928 owner considering the trip to sebring to watch the 12 hour race. Are there any other "listers" out there making this trip from afar? Just thought it might be fun to travel together or form our own sub club within Porscheplatz. There is nothing better than flying in to orlando, going to the walmart for supplies and then camping next to the rental car. Anyone in?

I have been many times [9 times]- I usaully drive a VW camper and stay in the Green Park area-[over the bridge] lots of good parties and many repeaters come year after year in various groups -they come weeks in advance and get thier vehicles in line so they can be in the exact same spot each year. Some of the groups names -The Kings,Team Tampa,Wrecking Crew & F Troop to name only a few.. The gates open Wensday-and the fun begins several days before race. I my opinion the best sportscar race in the US with great history, and a large loyal fan base. I live in Charlotte N.C. and that 13hr drive home is a long one. I havent been in 3yrs-so Im overdue.

I've been going for years. I usually stay at Chateau Elan at the track so I don't end up parking in Porsche Platz. Last year there were no 928s as I recall so it would be good to see some representation.
