I understand that it is a unibody design. Probably not expressing myself correctly. What I was thinking is take the body off and you have the trans connected by the torque tube to the engine. You put little roller stands under this and roll it away. Like a trans jack or something. This way everything is there, out in the open and you can get to everything easily. I guess you could leave the wheels and suspension bits on the car. What I am getting at is having the whole drivetrain out and moved away in a unit. Then just work on what you need to at your leisure, put it all back together and put it back in the car as a unit, like they did at the factory.
Just curious.

When I watched it and they said "We are going to take the body off the chassis..." i sat there and laughed thinking, they will stop when they find out it is not a chevy that just bolts off.
Then I was shocked to see they cut the body off.
Either way, they did small scale wind tunnel testsand the "water tunnel" tests and all of it clearly showed that forward is better than backward......then they continued and fu**ed up the car.
Seriously, I understand going the extra mile for viewers, but still the could only have parked the car in a proper wind tunnel facing forward and back, and there are your results
