hello 928 experts,

i am facing some trouble on a 88 (or late 87) S4. Instrument pod gauges dont work. All of them. Only the idicators blink, but also occassionally. Checked fuses and relay, as well as contacts. All seems good. Any ideas ?

Fuses are still suspect nr.1. Some might seem good but need to be replaced by new ones. Try at least a new one for slot nr. 10 and clean the contacts really well (until shiny). if that doesn't work, clean the ground points above the fuse panel and then the ground points behind/under the pod. Clean all battery contacts and inspect the ground strap. If that doesn't work, you'll need to take the pod apart to clean the connectors to the instrument panel.

Did you by chance replace the warning bulbs with LED's? Did you have the pod apart and it doesn't light up upon reassembly or just suddenly stopped working?
