Thanks. Makes sense. Honestly. You must have a PhD in fluid mechanics or aeronautics.

Crazy thing though.

They got paid big money for their nonsense, enough to buy any cars they want, using false representations for convenience.

I envy the Mythbusters for their great workshop and ability to access facilities like NASA's. I hope that they didn't deliberately show the model in the water tank at such a low Reynolds number for dramatic effect, and to make the 928 look bad, but can't think of any other explanation. When I think that they could have showed what the flow looks like over the hatch at highway speeds and more, to resolve the debate once and for all, I think "what a wasted opportunity".

Saw and touched the car today at the Ontario Science Centre. They have a Mythbusters exhibit. It was cool to see it in person among the Citroen 2CV car converted to a bike but a bit sad that they chopped up a twin distributor 16V car.
