Default Antilock brake warning

I was driving the 86.5 tonight and about 10 mins. into the ride the warning light came on, after nearly having a heart attack I realized it was the antilock brake and not the timing belt. The light stayed on until the car was shut off, after restarting it didn't come on again. Any ideas, Thanks Jack

I had the same problem and traced it to a mixture of bad Anti Lock Relay and possible dirty sensors. Cleaned the sensors and replaced the relay and it has not come back on, so seems good.

the timing belt warning is on the top left hand side of the cluster ,
read the owners manual for a better description,
ABS is on the lower right. general if the ABS light comes on when the key is turned on check the fuse and check and or replace the ABS relay on the panel
If the light comes on after the car has moved 20ft. then clean the sensors and check and or replace one or both of the relays under the left fender on top of the ABS unit.
Note the relays are easy to check just add 12v and see if they close any that are corroded on the pins should be opened and clean the contacts
