reverse loclout question with pics
Hi all had the cover off my tranny and trying to figure out why my reverse lockout is not worrking from the pic in the link it appeares all my parts are intact but the spring portion is not where it is suppose to be compaired to my pic.

I have always read about the spring breaking but not the spring getting shifted around. I guess I will just make it look like the pic in the link and I should be good to go?

Hey Sam,
It's weird that it doesn't appear to be broken but clearly it's not in the right place.
When I opened mine up, the U-shaped piece was wedged farther than it's supposed to go as well, although my spring was also broken.
I'm not sure how it gets there, but the effect is the same, it can't lock out if the lever can't move that U-shaped piece.
Looks like yours went too far and caught the spring but didn't break it on the way back up or something. Here's what mine looked like:
