Question on cleaning elec motor gearing..
I have the motor apart..it was cake. T23 bit to open the motor with a flex screwdriver.
Im to understand theres not much to clean inside the transmission housing under the motor, just clean up the gooey grease on the worm gear of the motor shaft.
And..I guess the next best way to clean the dried out gunk on the toothed arm inside the door..is reach in there with rag and solvent, and clean it...then reapply some fresh lube to it.
