Default oil pressure sender wiring 1980 928S 4,7 Euro

Hi

I have searched the forums up and down for this, so i hope i am not double posting.

On my 1980 4,7 928S euro the previous owner cut of the wires to the oil pressure sender, and replace it with a cheap unit that replaced the clock. I am removed this and installed a new sender. But i do not know where the wires should go. There are only two wires.

One is Brown/black, the other is green and black as far as i can see. I know they are the correct wires as they are in the right position from the harnes.

Which should go to which pin? One is marked G, cant remember the other one right now...

Does anybody know or could check your own car?

Thank you.

Blue /White to the G
Blue/Black to the opposite side. This is per the WSM .

If your not sure ,
just connect the wires to the sender and turn on the key to the crank position,
if the gauge pegs with the key in run and the engine off then the wires need to be swapped.

Hope this pic helps, and I apologize for the grimy mess. This is on my '80 Euro S, 4.7L as I was documenting before disassembly.

Thank you so much guys. mine is brown and black as on the picture. Hopefully it is only the sender. I also checked and cleaned the piston and changed the gaskets so mine should stay dry for a while.. I do have a spare instrument cluster if the gauge should turn out to be bad.
