Default Wheel color

Hi,

I'm thinking of having someone painting my wheels to it's original look, they are very yellowed, due to age and brake dust.
Is there a code number for the wheels color or it's just silver, grey, titanium or what?
TIA for your anwers!

Regards

Bom Dia Ricardo,

The stock wheels are anodized not painted. They are a silver color but you could have them powder coated any color you want. Find a good local powder coating shop and see what colors they have available. I'm sure you will find something you like.

'83 Ruby red is probably the GOLD anodized and there is NO PLACE that can do that any more! They should look like these. My car is a US '84, Ruby Red... my '85 EURO wheels look like CRAP so I will probably strip and paint them silver...can do that cheaper than having them anodized.

James,

Dude, where do you live? Whenever I take a picture of my cars, there's always some ugly shrub in the background or maybe a candy wrapper I didn't see. You seem to have half naked women in the background of all of your shots?

I would bet black chrome would look great on that car. I am thinking about it on my lite-bleu-metalic 79. Please post pics when you decide.
