Power Window travel
This past weekend I replaced the worn plastic guides that were causing the windows to rattle. After cleaning and applying white grease to the verticle guide bar. The window is traveling slowly upward aprox. 8 seconds from start to finnish. Before I replaced the guides the window would only take half as long. Does this sound as though my motors need to replaced or reconditioned?

its quite possible that you have the window installed in a binding position its best the loosen the white braket bolts and let the window find itself. then snug the brackets open the window a few inches and see if the window is binding and or readjust the plastic guides.
It is also a good ide to remove the window lift arm and clean o0ut and lube the arm pivot this will make the window go slow if its not cleaned out and lubed.
Same goes for the window motor, clean it out and lube the bearing in the motor

I will bet on Stan being correct. I just replaced the motor in the drivers side of my 79 Euro. Had same issue. I removed the panel and adjusted on the window guides until it went up and down as it should.
Best of luck,
