I got joy with PS Banjo bolt
I had a small leak from the banjo bolt that was messing up the bottom of my engine which is otherwise very clean. After the last winter's projects I had installed new copper washers. Obviously I did not tighten them enough.
After doing all the searches I was ready to drop the alternator BUT after I loosened and rotated it out of the way I found that the combination of these two long 19mm wrenches allowed me about 4 small turns on the bolt. Basically, when the flat box wrench could not turn anymore because it met an obstruction I was able to get the angled box wrench to work at that point. Because of the lengths of the wrenches I was able to get some muscle on them.
I drove the car like this on Thursday, Friday and all day today. Lots of starts and stops and lots of steering usage i.e. for parking. I jacked it up this afternoon and it's still dry. Now to shampoo the hoses again.
Hope this helps someone there with the same problem
Cheers!
