I have to admit that I'm fortunate that my wife doesn't get in the way of my hobby. You'll note that I say hobby and not hobbies. When I got married I made the decision to focus on just one hobby and eliminate the rest. This limits how much time and funds get spent on extracurricular activities. I also have made a decision not to get into AutoX or tracking cars simply because I know its a black hole when it comes to money spent to maintain the car.

It also helps to control the finances which she gladly lets me handle.
