Does anyone have a Idea of what a 16-Valve 928 Engine weights?
Im interested in the longblock weight but anything will work.
Would it be around 400 lbs? with the belt drivin accesories.

Yea 16 valve thats what I meant. Not the S4 engine.

Around 260 Kg according to the shop manual

search for VWDMC16 he weighed a whole bunch of parts individually and as assemblies...so did Rob Edwards....

A nearly complete 84 16V with clutch and all accessories & headers was 595lbs

Complete engine? Or longblock?

That is a complete engine...I believe the later 32-valve was 264 Kg...slightly heavier. Check out Rob's engine weight breakdown for a 32-valve GTS engine...I think he came up with 530-ish lbs.
