Anyone ever try wood hardener?
its a water based solution that hardens and shapes wood.
I"m thinking of soaking a warped area, clamping it, and letting it dry for 24-48 hours.
Hopefully the wood hardening solution will set a straight line/flat panel?

As an update, the wood hardener works. Sets and weather proofs the fiberboard from warping again.
Thorough cleaning/removal of any residual adhesive of the area helps the wood hardener get absorbed. If you can lift the leather and dampen both sides with wood hardener before clamping all the better.

Does fiberglass fabric and fiberglass resin hold/stiffen a warped panel?
I noticed the Porsche factory used this fiberglass fabric+resin approach on a portion of the door panel of my S4.
I'm finding wood hardener isn't perfect at keeping a flat shape once a warped area of the panel is clamped and pressed even with wood hardener solution.

In my experience with those materials, yes, they will hold the shape of a reworked/straightened panel.

Cheers
