I didnt hear from our "friend", but i did talk to the guys that work on Mark and Scot's car in Campbell.

The areodynamic drag of the wipers on the Estate slowed it down exactly .84 seconds.

that has to be it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the "estate" itself actually improves aerodynamics!!!!!!!!!!!!!
