Martin-

Not sure about the blower itself but to expose it there are 2 philips head screws facing rearward in the black plastic blower cover. Remove them, the cover, and the vent assembly. Then there are 2 philips head screws vertically placed in the top of the 'crossbar' of the rear console cover (may be hidden under the overlying vinyl or leather-it'll have cuts in it) , and 4 philips head screws (with weird serrated threads) that run laterally into the brackets on the evaporator (fore) and blower (aft) - See arrows below. Then lift the console cover up and off- may need to pry outwards the metal straps thru which the horizontal philips head screws attach.

Martin - once you have the dog house off so you can access the unit (like in Rob's picture), you can spray some lubricant (like WD40) through both sides of the fan housing, directly onto the bearings. Just take your time and get the little red hose right on the bearing and press slowly to not "blast" the lubricant. Spin the fan by hand and do it a couple more times.

I did this in the middle of Ohio on a coast-to-coast trip last year with some duralube spray and it hasn't squeeked again since.
