Ed seems a little too intent on viewing the inside of houses

I think anytime in October is great with exception to Halloween.

Still need to get my pictures up.

I thought the timing was great, good timing as far as this year has gone with the foliage colors and it's early enough to not interfere with any Halloween plans.

Like many others, GREAT place for the event Tass really made the whole gathering homely. I still can't get over how friendly and welcoming all of you were! I was practically ambushed before I had even got out of the car! ::snicker::

I will absolutely be at this event again, regardless of when it's held!

Thanks Tass, great to catch up with you and with others from my time in New England, and to meet some new friends albeit for a brief span of time.
That first "night of preparation" pic makes me wonder about the potential for some pre-game, night-before campout action...but that would probably cause havoc with the neighbors, the lawn and the resident milk snake!
Again, thanks for the time to coordinate, host, etc and to all for their contributions of time, expertise and good humor.

I really want to make it next year Tass.

I think the third week in October will work for next year...It does fall right smack in the middle of my cidering season which HAS to be finished for the pumpkin shoot we hold around the first weekend in November. If I get my fingers out next year I will be there.....

We all had some laughs, ate a ton of food, drank a few beers and even fixed a few cars ! Thank you everybody !

Before this thread drops away, we are picking a date for next years' event. What does everyone think about this year's date...did it work well for you? A week or two earlier might be closer to the height of the foliage season. We want to carve out an annual time slot that does not conflict with other events.

I was there less than 2 hours, and had to run off to my grandmother's 100th B day. I am truly bummed that I couldn't stay the whole day. Great venue, host, people, cars, and all.
