If someone buys my car I will jump on this car if it is available still. More importantly I hope Charles is okay.

Update! My heath is improving. Thanks to everyone who offered prayers and kind words. I was diagnosed with Multiple Schlerosis. Common syptoms are fatigue and dizziness. I haven't sold my 928 yet and kind of put things on hold (I really love this car) until now. I must sell the car now. I have no energy to finish it or keep up with it. I also can't handle driving it anymore. This car has way too much power for someone who is dizzy! LOL! I found my daughter a car so I would like to sell it out right. I'd like $14,500 but as I said before that price is not firm. If I don't sell it here on RL soon I will be forced to go to Ebay. Yuk! Thanks again! Pizza

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. My mom had MS; diagnosed in her early 40ies. At the time there were not many treatment options, and she deteriorated rapidly. I hope you are well insured and have access to the latest and greatest treatments.

This may be far away from you, but I have heard good things about the University of Oregon's Multiple Sclerosis Center. They do have some interesting clinical trials going.

Best wishes!

Man-o-man. That sucks. I will point anyone I know of looking fro a nice 928 to yours.

I wish you all the best as you tackle this beast.

Prayers and wishes abound.

Hey Pizza
My dad was diagnosed with MS in 1990. He lived a good 15 years with very minimal symptoms before other, unrelated health issues caught up to him. Twice or three times a year, he would get a flareup where he would have to lie down for a day or two. After it was over, he'd be up and around.

Good luck with the sale! I'm not in the market since I just bought mine, but man this thing must go.

Glad to hear you found out what it was. My good friend (and 911 racer) was diagnosed about 7 years ago at age 35. He is doing well. Walks with a cane and takes his time but he won salesman of the year at his company for 2010--all mind over matter!

My car may be sold (on YUK ebay). We'll see if the price goes up (hit reserve) and if the sale actually goes through (as often happens with eBay...).

Sent you an email and left a voice mail.

Default Pizza Delivery!

Today is a great day. I took delivery of Charles (Pizza) 1986.5 this morning

Charles has been awesome. In addition to the the car, I have boxes (literally) of items that will bring this 928 to the condition Charles set out to do. The Detroit gang has offered to help me as well, so this 928 is in great hands

I love the color...looks different in all light conditions. Thought I'd share a few pics of the morning...

Congrats to you both! Great looking machine. My 86.5 B.M. (Before Maaco) had been a Garnet Red Metallic, and I have been trying to think how I want to go with paint restoration. Although the quality is let's say a 100 foot paint job, I like the black the PO repainted it in. But nothing except external surfaces got sprayed (ALL external surfaces unfortunately), so bringing it back to the original would not be that hard, and your car is a powerful reason to go in that direction. And I gotta add, I'm no fan of twists, but on your car those wheels just look exceptional!

Soooo jealous. Always wanted that color...that series...that power-adder...

You've got to post a decent sound/vid file of the twinscrew under load!
