Default What the heck is this for?

Doing new plug wires, intake refresh ( off the 86 ), water pump, timing belt and tensioner. This was bolted to the rear of the righthand side intake plenum but was hooked to nothing, what the heck is it for. Thanks Jack Attachment 475575

CO2 test port. Unneeded. Connects to the headers. Chances are that since it has busted off at the bottom, you have an open hole that should be plugged.

Looks like it might have burned through, does it go in the top of the header( or the general area to locate ). Thanks Jack

to plug the hole in your header this is done from under the car, remove the cap nut on the side of the EX manifold, then pull out the broken piece get ball bearing at ACE hardware that fits the outlet but is big enough to not fall through the hole reinstall the cap nut this will seal off the outlet, if you cant remove the tube from the outlet then crimp it leave the cap nut on, use antiseize on the cap threads
