THX for OC members support, & OC Financials link
I wish to express my sincere THANKS to all who supported my candidacy for another term as 928 Owners Club Treasurer. I understand the trust and responsibility that goes with this office, and have done my best to fulfill both over the ~5 years that I've been keeping track of "YOUR" money. I will continue to do that.
Secondly, on the Topic relating to 928 OC elections that Andrew Olson originally opened, and is now closed, the subject of transparency regarding club finances was raised. I know my latest compilation of income and expenditures over the time I've been Treasurer were posted on the 928 OC web site, but perhaps it wasn't easy to find them. So - if you are a member, and visit the site below, then scroll down to "928 Financials" (currently about 5-6 posts down), you will find the information (originally posted 8/16/2010). At the time of the compilation - 7/31/10 - the assets of the Club were slightly over $15,000, and there were no outstanding bills or debts.

The first four words of this thread are "Thanks for OC Support". I'm probably reading your meaning a bit differently than you intend, Gary.
...but on behalf of Frenzy 14 and many, many previous Frenzies, I'd like to hijack the meaning of your thread for a moment and thank 928 OC for their generous financial support - this year and for the past several years.
Personally, I really enjoy Frenzy events. Whether it's as an attendee or an organizer, it's a great event. Thanks in a big part to 928OC. Because it's a non-profit event, Frenzy's ability to have relied on 928OC for financial support year in and year out helps to make holding the event financially feasible. And "relied" is a key word here. 928OC has ponied up a sizeable contribution toward Frenzy without making us jump through hoops or asking what's in it for them.
I can speak for all Frenzy organizers, present and past in saying that we are truly grateful for the support given by 928OC.
What does/has 928OC done for me? From where I sit, it's been an integral part in keeping the 928 Community alive and well.
Now I need to come clean: I'm not a 928OC member. Gary, I'll be talking to you at Frenzy about this, and I'm sure that you can point me in the right direction to join.
