Default S4 Side Marker

I recently noticed that I had an intermittent side marker warning light. I finally had a chance to go through the normal troubleshooting process this afternoon [despite the humidity in DFW]. I ended up cleaning all the grounds, checking all the normal plugs... blah blah blah... well, ended up pulling the light housing apart and this is what I found. I'm pretty sure this is the culprit.

GOO!

That'll buff right out.

Looks like the drain in the rubber boot got clogged and filled the housing with water. Hopefully a good cleaning will remedy the sitiation.

Wow..sometimes its a normal failure, not a "First, remove the fuse panel relay B, wiggle twice, then apply test lamp to the 2a fuse, third from the left, and open the doors three times."

John,
I have an extra socket if you need one.

Also, have you adjusted the tranny shifter lever yet to correspond to the gear?
