The bad news: I lost a stubby wrench, and I'm fairly certain it went down into the flex - plate/torque tube inspection window. Fishing via magnet no luck.

Easy enough to pull the cover. But it might be wedged under heat shields.
Watching you was frustrating because there was no way to help you, not even hold the light.
I'd mark and pull the hood. Maybe lift the car a foot so you don't have to bend over.

Pulling the hood has occurred to me.
I stuck my littlest webcam into the inspection port and did not see it, but I can't find it anywhere else. Grrrr.
I can certainly pull lower cover, but that involves jacking and possibly dropping front part of exhaust.
I'm gonna put that aside for a while and rebuild the hoses I have off now. Let my frustration die down and try to find it again when I am not as frustrated.
