...but I made a run at this one last November when it was for sale for $6800. Owner was the mechanic I believe at that time. He seemed a little shaky and I had a tough time getting straight answers. "Just come and look" was response to all questions. Anyways found my 86.5 rescue locally. Always curious when they come "back on market". Haven't seen it though.

I doubt that, because I'm the mechanic. Doc sold the car a couple of months ago to this guy.
It's fine with me. I wonder if he washed/rinsed/dried the salvage title? I noticed there was no mention of that little tidbit in his ad. I hope he gets near his price.
For anyone considering the car, please PM me first. As a buyer, his money was fine. the stereo that was in there was fine, but not a big watt type. The rear speakers were new, I wish he would send them back to me.
the only thing that irritates me a little is the fact that he didn't integrate with the TX 928 group. Can't fault him for his personal failings as I have plenty of my own. I'd give him $5300 for it right now(sale price plus 300 for stereo), but he would think it's a bogus offer. Sean, call him up and tell him you've got a buyer at $5k, and take a commish!

No you didn't. I've owned, or driven this car for more than 3 years, and it was never for sale at $6800. If you're calling me shaky, I'd hate to see what you consider stable.
