Finally.....My new to me 88 S4
I finally found the car I wanted with the maintenance records, and colors I was looking for. The car should be delivered Thursday, I cannot wait.
I guess I need to buy a membership and become a member.

Our's have very similar miles, but yours goes much faster.
(remember as a kid when you though the fastest car was the one with the highest speedo? ....or was that just me. )

Thanks guys, it is going to be my weekend car so I wanted to get something that didnt need a bunch of interior and exterior work. I just want to drive and enjoy.
Timing Belt, water pump, brakes, Tune up, completed 7k ago. I dont see any records for motor mounts but I will do more reading and determine when it needs to be done. Drives quite nice and straight, never painted, wheels and tires look new with the original wheels and tires included as well. He also included a bunch of other parts. It is the same middle aged man owning it the last 8 years.
A few areas have small clear coat peel, so I will take it to a body shop and see if that can be fixed? The rear exhaust tip looks original but is not chrome anymore? The bezels around the locks need changing(He has the parts). I have some work to do and then I will look at some go fast options.
I am in the market for shop manuals if anyone knows of a good used set? Once I read more of the forum I will lean on you guys for some help...........
BTW anyone going to the Sunpeaks Porsche weekend in B.C.?

An easy way to tell if your mounts are collapsed it to look at the intake and the crossmember. If your intake is sitting lower than the crossmember, your mounts are bad. Here's a photo of mine. Brand new mounts.

It is awesome.
I like that color 928. What a nice car! It can almost keep you out of trouble. Be safe.
Regards,
p.s. How are your fuel lines? There are some more rubber ones in the back too.
