Maleficio, I think you may have missed the point of using the injection cleaner in the first place.
It has been suggested to use it just prior to changing the oil due to the fact that it will be loosening deposits in the intake and combustion chamber, and fuel injectors.
These deposits will then be washed into the oil system making the oil dirtier than it would normally be without the extra cleaning effect,
It has not been proposed that the techron will dilute the oil.
In fact most of it will be burned in the combustion process, so oil dilution isnt a factor here.
That said the best time to use the techron would be just prior to an oil change.
The other part of using the techron is to make lots of short trips so the cleaner will be able to soak into the deposits,
adding the techron then making a long drive will not give the cleaner time to work as well as it can

Yes, I know this, and I say that the majority of loosened deposits within the combustion chamber will be scavenged out the exhaust along with exhaust vapors.
Also, any deposit material that finds it's way into the sump will be trapped by the oil filter.

I've understood what the main concern was this entire time, and I find it to be absurd. I shifted my focus to something I consider to be legit, and that is oil viscosity breakdown because of the introduction of solvents to the sump (which I don't think happens to a great enough extent to warrant a conversation).

I have used Techron a LOT. many bottles of the ****. The tops of the valves shine, but I believe I still had deposits on the piston surfaces, so maybe it gets burnt before it can touch the pistons.
I have also done a couple of flushes with a quart of Rislone in the oil. These resulted along with some other work with an emissions report that no new car could match and a car that revs like a son of a bitch.

are proposing that a bottle of Techron is so strong that it can ruin a sump full of oil within one tankful of gas.
I don't see where anyone claimed "ruin" versus possibly degrading.
Let's say for the sake of this discussion that tests show 15-50 of brand X stays within "normal" parameters using a 5k mile change interval, but pushing it to 10k miles it degrades by say 5, 10, 15, 25 etc....percent.
At what point do you say "Ok, now it has fallen low enough to warrant a change"?
Next question is why are you even using it in the first place? I only add Techron in the spring after my car has been sitting for 3-4 months. If you car is a regular driver and you always buy good gas......I fail to understand why you would use it in the first place.
No different than a car that spends 95% of it's life making short stop & go trips should have it's oil changed more often than a car that sees 95% highway.
Some of you live and die by not being able to make a decision until someone practically makes it for you.

People want to make the "best" choices for their cars in areas they control and don't consider the low value of the decision points they're pondering.
Techron after storage and when I feel like it. Sometimes before the 150 mile trip to the track. WTF? It ain't going to hurt and I've experienced good results. I like seafoam, too. In the gas, buddies.

Unless the molecules of Techron are considerably smaller than those of gasoline it seems unlikely to get into the oil anymore than the fuel. If so how?
As some of the 928 engines and emission systems seem to pump more than necessary oil saturated air back into the induction system a regular use of of products like Techron make sense even with consistent use of good gasoline.
Now, how does one clean the exhaust valves? In the testing I've done on older U.S. V8's with various engine cleaners I found a few products that do a good job on on the intake manifold and intake valves, mediocre results on the piston tops and very little noticeable results on the exhaust valves.
