Car cover repair?
I have a cover for my car. It's the genuine Porsche cover meant for outdoor use made from a water resistant, breathable fabric.
I washed it my washing machine the other day and it came out fine with no damage. I then made the mistake of putting it in the dryer.
The dryer was on the lowest temperature setting and only set to the "Damp" level of dryness.
Everything would have been fine, except for the fact the cover is so big, it didn't really tumble around in the dryer. One small section of the cover stayed pressed against the back of the dryer and had two holes melted in it. (guess it's a plastic fabric)
Does anyone have an idea what sort of fabric I can patch the cover up with that would be soft and breathable, yet water resistant?
Thanks.

That may be the easiest thing. I didn't even think of duct tape.
The car really belongs in a nice climate controlled 4 car garage/workshop with a lift and a loft. Until I can afford that in the very distant future, a car cover with duct tape will have to do.
