RKD in OKC

Local PCA had a car show at Hooter's. The Hooter Girls judge the cars. One of the "Judges" said, "Wow, that's like the car in Risky Business." It got 2nd place. The winner was a brand new, black and tan, C4S cab.

As a huge consolation the winner asked me to start it up and rev it because he really wanted the hear that 928 sound. Not too bad for an old "heavy" 928, FTD at the autocross and placing 2nd in the car show against a brand new cab.

I will be showing mine at the "Club Day" pre-event at the Fairfield County Concours in September. Not a proper concours - just car clubs showing off with a people's choice award for one car from each club. Considering how many people tell me, "I've always loved those..." when they see my 928, I think there has got to be a lot of latent love for it, which should make it a successful show-er.
