Default R there any Porsche mechanic here

As a mechanic my self, I was wondering if there were any actual techs here that have done a crown and pinion setup.

I have never been inside the 928 diff but I would like to go through it this winter.

Take really good notes.

Hillbilly Greg is a tech, Greg Brown is, and a few others I believe.

Good, that is awesome because I hate to be alone with just a manual and know cross talk.

Nothing beats experience

There are others, depends on what you mean by mechanic.

The go-to guy for 928 transmission (and MB, IIRC) is Steve Cataneo, has a shop Orange Co. NY. He's here rarely, but a search would turn up contact or phone.
