my fronts are 9.5" with 68 offset and a 265/35/18 tire. No rubbing and normal S4 non-rolled fenders...

10" wheels fit.. My current front setup are 10X18 with 265 R888.. I have also tried 10X18 ET 65Carrera lightweight wheels back in 2003/4 and they fit.. I have also tried and fit 11X18 with 305 R888 in front and they fit..

Maybe I get DQ'd because my car is not stock... FYI, kibort has seen my car with the R888's with 10's in front and a lowered front suspension (150mm). Yes, he rolled my rear fenders with a bat, and the car is fine..

Just my $0.02

(PS.. My profile has a bunch of pixx with the R888's.., and I was the first person to put C lightweight wheels on a 928, when too many nay sayers said it could not be done, including Marc at DEVEK.. incidentally, the car was displayed at Devek Days '03/04 with the wheels on it..)

Have fun guys, gotta run..

What is the ET for your BBS front wheels found from your profile? They look very nice with Toyos!

Tommi,

Thanks for the compliments. I am very happy with the setup..

I would have to get my calculator and figure out the ET. The BBS 3pc I have on the car are Porsche Motorsport Cup Car Wheels with forged Alu Centers that I had drilled to mount on a 5 bolt axle. They are originally made for centerlocking hubs. They are made up of 9.00 inch inner barrell halves with 1.00 inch outer barrel halves with the forged E28 center section mounted on the inside face of the barrels.

The backspace is 8.50 or 9.00 inch I believe, but would have to check my documents to confirm. It is also possible to pick up some extra backspace by mounting the center section on the outside face of the barrels which would make the backspace 9.00 or 9.50 inches..

I have another set of magnesium wheels same pattern which are outside face barrel mount. (You can see the black dots of the bolt retainers outside mounted in the picture in my profile with the center lock wheel mounted on the rear of the 928.)

If you have to have 10.00 Inch wheels in front, then just buy a set with the right backspace and go.. (FIKSE, CCW, BBS etc..) Also remember, when or if you put the 10.00 inch wide ET65 rim on the front axle, you may need to use a 3mm spacer depending on the wheel pattern so the wheel spoke does not hit the brake caliper.. Your ET will now be 62 after using such a spacer....

If you get the right setup, it will fit just fine.. If you can find a set of cup car wheels like I have, they are very light, very strong, and will fit with no problems... (They are not exactly cheap, but if you get lucky, you may find a used set from a racer.. If you're interested, send me a PM, I may be able to get you a set from some buddies who have a cup car race team..)

Anyway, hope that helps..

Hi Tommi,

I just saw your request for pics - I don't have any right now, and won't for some time as my S4 is up on jack stands getting a rebuilt steering rack, motor mounts, pan gasket, etc, installed. Then I'm doing a water pump/tb job, so it will be some time before its back on the road.
