That is a difficult place to do a burnout as the road camber slides you toward the woods across the street. Next year, use the other driveway with less road camber.

How is that front suspension doing?

 

Still sagging, creaking, and squeaking like an old rusty bed. New spring and shocks are stuck in shipping boxes... I am hoping to pry them out soon… maybe this weekend or next.

Those tires were 'sticker tires' the day before... need to scrub them down a bit. LOL

Slightly off topic:

I see that in 2011, Sharks in Hell is in August 5-7. I would like to attend if possible, but would hate to travel so far for only a weekend.

My question is twofold: Is there any other 928-related gathering planned for about that time? If so, what, when and where?

 

The only other event that is close (distance and time wise) is Porsches to Oxford (about 4 hour drive from here). Porsches to Oxford is held the weekend before Sharks in Hell and put on by the Ohio region Porsche club. The event has grown over the years and now attracts 450-500 cars (all Porsche models).
