My name is bond......auto bond.

Yeah, in the world of classifieds for car sales, it gets interesting. My favorites are often when a seller spends the time to list out all the "improvements" they've done but neglect any kind of photos to help out their cause.

You have to wonder if this si a joke of some sort. Someone would've asked a serious question by now, like what year is it really?

Thanks to whoever sent this gem in.

Q: what in the world is "auto Bond" and why does it have 84 bumper covers vs 87? The 928 never had an Auto Bond additon. It had a s4,s,gt,gts,RS (rare) But no AB? Was it used in a 007 movie? What are you getting at? Aug-16-10
A: hi there if you do not know what the german auto bond is. let me see if i can help. it is simply an endless highway in gernimy with no speed limit for witch ferdanan porsche desined a highly dependable porsche witch became the auto bond edition 928s modle witch is capeable of crusing at 150mpr for hrs on end whtch in turn was his finest accomplishment for a dependable high speed comuter car. all the other porsches are great cars too but when put to the test for high speed long range sustained travle the other cars were found to have a high failure rate .such as timing belt / water pump /valve train / turbo. basicly more moving parts more problums , for its day and age .hope this helps . the car is 1984 not 87 typo .1984 1984 thank you four ? alan

you will not find these featurs on any other porsche you look at ,

there just arnt many around any more

the S modle 928 was the most dependable porsche

of all the porsche modles hands down beating out the

914 , 944 , 928 s4 , 928s4 turbo , 911 , and the 911 targa ,

of all these the 928 s sounds more like a twelve cylender
I think I'm going to add this to my signature!!!

I had to reply to the guy:
Alan- I am not being critical of you as a person. That said, you are going to have a hard time selling this car unless you correct the egregious spelling and factual errors. you will do much better if you spend a little time, spell check the ad and pull out the extraneous (and wrong) comments about the 928S4 Turbo (no such car). Autobahn, not Auto Bond. Illuminated door sills were not a factory feature. Added by someone other than Porsche. (use this to make your car stand out). List the option codes on the sticker over the gas tank (under rear carpet to the right of spare tire) and that will help too
Clean it up and you'll sell it no problem and probably get more money too.

Jeff, what do you know? You know nothing about the auto bond or the 928S4 turbo

No option sticker under there, came later. But he should have some fun looking for it. I really want to hear his reply.

From looking at the other stuff he is selling, we can count this listing as serious.

"endless highway in gernimy with no speed limit"

And all those years I thought I was in "Germany". Little did I know. I must be dyslexic.

I think we need to call him an "amber lamps" because the boy has obviously just had a stroke or a bad fall resulting in a closed head injury. I did not think that anyone could deliberately spell that badly....I stand corrected.

the preceding comment translated into "auto bond" speak--

Eye thinq wee ned to kall heeem a bamberlance kauze heeem haz had a strok oer suferd a cloz'd hed njuree. Eye deed nutt thinq sumon kuld delibertly spel thad bedly....Eye stan corect'd
