This sounds like a job for the 928 Owner's Club. Seriously.

It could be password protected and allow sponsor and member access. If someone were willing to take it on as a project, that would be awesome.

If there any iPhone & App developers, perhaps they could make it an app for Apple & Android or someone could at least program it into Google Maps.

Being perfectly honest, I'm far better at vision on these things than at application. Comes from being a product manager type for 15 years.

I'd do the list for free on a mobile but for lack of one thing, programming ability on the iPhone/Android. That makes me about as useful as Britney Spears in a math tutor program.

I agree this would be a great service offered or hosted by the 928OC. I volunteer to maintain a list if no one else wants to. I don't want to step on anyone's toes and I'd have to start from scratch but if no one else is doing it I'll take a shot at it.

Maybe I'll start a new thread and see what kind of response I get.

I think that is a great idea, and you might want to make a notation of who the pros are that work on 928's and who the other members that are not pros that very well could be if they wanted to be in addition to folks that are just willing to help.

We need a way that folks can have our private cell numbers along with our regular contact numbers that will not be posted on the web, I know I do not want my cell number posted on the web, but would be ok with any one from here having it.

Someone like myself could be in a catagory say like I have a halfway house. I have a large heated shop with basics, wire feed,compressor,metrics,mill and manuals. Maybe more of a host.
