Oh yeah, forgot to add a big thank you to James for working the grill for us. Kieren, what happened man? Where were you?
I'd also like to apologize to all the guys that were there that I didn't get to talk to. I my time trying to figure out how to get everyone from one place to another and then trying to get the two cars that we were going to be working on set up and started that I'm afraid I really didn't spend much time actually talking to everyone.
I wish I could have checked out the rest of the cars and spent more time getting to know everyone. Hopefully at the next GTG I'll remedy that.
Also, I'd like to add one more big thank you to Adam. He was the one that made this whole thing work. Inviting us all into his home and garage and letting us use his tools and facilities (even when clowns like me spill oil all over his nice driveway pavers!). Thanks again Adam.

Pictures Added
Just got a chance to upload some of my pictures from Saturday
Parked at the boardwalk
Getting ready to work on fluid change - Liftbars, next best thing to a lift
I can't believe it someone has both belly pans in place
Uh-oh toxic oil spill
Fluids all ready to go in
Mike can't believe it, shark biting off Allen's hand
Adam thinking what did I get into with these guys?
David of Autowerks9 with stein from his company donated to everyone at SATB -THANKS David
Only way it would look better is if it was filled with beer!

Glen,
Great pics! Thanks for taking them and for posting. Looks like I need to hit the gym or else Adam needs some taller jack stands.
Seriously, those liftbars make this work so easy. And SAFE!

Thanks David,
You must have been typing as I was. I'll be packaging up the mug you gave me for Roger at 928sRus this weekend. He's going to love it I'm sure. They came out great!
Also, I just spoke to Adam last night and we decided we're going to do a GTG in the spring at his house as well, late March or early April.
The theme will be 'Wake up your shark' (because I'm the only nutcase in the area that drives mine year-round).
So the tech session will be: brake bleeds for anyone who wants to do that and also bearing replacement since Adam's garage is fully equipped to do that the right way.
We may skip the drive in the spring just so we can get to work earlier, but that will be up for a vote.
We're still in the early stages of planning on this so if anyone is interested in doing this but has a weekend that's better than the others around that time or there's a weekend you just can't make it, let me know.

I am sorry i showed up so late. What i did experience was fun and was nice meeting everyone who was left. The mugs are amazing and it gives me an idea for potential future NNJR social events. The drive was nice home but the toothed belt light came on several times on the way. Only 700 miles since replacement but it looks like time to check the tension again.

Although I haven't been that active on the 'list over the pat year, it was great to meet everyone. A special thanks to our sponsors - 928sRus, 928OC and autowerks9 - and Mike Frye for handling the behind the scenes coordination!
Mike and I look forward to hosting another GTG this Spring. Hopefully my green car will be back on the road by then!
