There is always the more Teutonic colors that look very sporty with a white exterior. This is the only solid color combination I am also considering.

Personally, I like dichotomy--like in the attached picture. I don’t know how it would look on a white car but I think it’d be “bitch’n”. Whenever I have the need to replace my current blue carpet, I'm going to raspberry. I already have rasperry seats, arm rest, etc.

What interior color would be good with the 'raspberry rocket'? I also like the black/terracotta combination, but most people have said I should use a lighter color. Somehow the silver gray Porsche put in it just doesn't seem quite right with the exterior ... thoughts?

Depending on your personal taste, pretty much any combination would work well, from a medium brown, or black, with raspberry highlights, to a 2 tone with Linen and raspberry. And a whole lot of possibilities in between.
Here is an example using Dan's current project:
Fuel filler door and matching leather:

on the 997's i love it
Especially with the upper in charcoal black leather. The 997's are great because you can also paint the trim to match the body color and with that trim being white it makes for a really spectacular interior.
However I do not think this look will translate well to the 928 at all!
I would love to have terracotta in a 997, but not in a 928

Well, I chose black leather seats with silver french seams. I am having a Porsche crest embroidered on the headrest of each seat in silver. Carpet color may be black or silver/gray. I think the silver/gray carpeting with help make the interior feel a bit larger in size. I am going to stick with the black dash and headliner. I will eventually do the pod with the same black and silver thread. Same with the door panel insert. I am thinking of making the door panel insert leather in the style of the same year 911. Folded and silver stitched leather in an angle or maybe not. That is last.

That terracotta interior is stunning!!! Paul could make it work in a 928.
Most "modern" Porsche's I see have all black or gray interior....blah.

Originally, I wanted something like the Mercedes Ash Grey. It is still my favorite. I just wanted to use Porsche specific colors, but frankly I don't like many of the colors. The whole changing colors gets me confused! Maybe that explains why I where one black sock and one blue one sometimes!
