Default 4 wire molex plug

I was removing the rear seat passenger side panel today and right where the 6" speaker sits I noticed a four pin molex connector not connected to anything. Does anyone know what it might be used for.

Mine were also disconnected from my speaker crossover until I had the speakers re-foamed and then connected back to the speakers. Check your speakers (if they are original) and you should see the connectors on the backside of the speaker crossover.

Okay that might make sense about the speakers... the original system was ripped out and replaced before I got my hands on the car.

If your dome lights don't work, there is a connector in there also, but I think it's a 6 pin.

Yeah, they probably installed an aftermarket crossover(s) wiht the new system which would make sense and just left the old wiring in place. I would rather a tech leave it then start cutting!
