i am shocked
took my 85 euro out for a lovely drive of 3 hours just wonderfull.
problem is i left with radio and interior lights working when doors and hatch opened .
i pushed the trip odometer reset and soon after the radio, interior lights, clock
odometer were all gone.
after drive fuse 24 was toast .
so i looked around and found a broken wire on the rear hatch light contact .
i repaired .
i have unpluged , clock , radio, rear hatch motor and hatch door light contact
i still will blow out a fuse quickly and when you put a fuse in you get a very nice flash from the fuse box. only a 25 amp fuse will not blow and all of these items function but the rear hatch light.
help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First thing - take that 25 Amp fire-starter out right now!
So obviously, you have a short somewhere. Since you said it happened when you reset the trip odo, I'd check the wiring behind that. Good luck!!

your going to have to do some investigating.
unplug every part thats not working try,
the ODO reset first and see if thats the issue,
put in a lower amp fuse so it will blow first and fry a harness once you find the bad part the fuse will stop blowing.
Sometimes the pod switches can short out on the pod as its made of aluminum and its grounded to the chassis
