"How much for a lid?!?" You are seriously dating yourself, man! The last time I heard that question was on a re-run of Barney Miller!

Are you sure you wouldn't be happier in a nice Buick or Lincoln at this point in your life?

Yeah, I gotta post a follow-up to that. The short story is that we moved this year from a house with no garage to a house with an over-sized 2-car garage under the house plus a separate over-sized 3-car garage across from it. Go big or go home, right?

I was going to wait until I got it set up properly (maybe even with a life?) so I could take nice impressive pictures, but maybe I should take pics while I have my shark apart? We'll see... have to get the shark back together first.

How big is the bore? If it is 100 mm you may well consider factory 49 mm valves. The blend to the new seat is critical to flow. If they don't have a flow bench don't let them touch it as they won't have any knowledge, most likely anyway.

Make sure the valve seat material is very hard, check the rockwell if the seat is not a stellite seat. If the factory seat can be reworked to accept the 45 mm valve all the better.

Fabio Don't know if you found a shop. Clearwater cylinder head is suppose to be very good, they did a set of heads for me yrs ago for a MB 280ce. Nice work!

They are in clearwater, right down the road from the go karts on Ulmerton. Might be a good reason to tear up the track!
