85/86 LH Chip Question
#3
You're putting in a stock EPROM? Weird.
You have a late '86 board there, like my '86.5 came with. The board is better organized than the earlier ones, and better isolated from RFI (EG. ground traces on the board on either side of O2 sensor input). It has room for a 28 pin EPROM socket (but could only address it as if it were a 24), which is why the orientation mark is offset.
The later board comes with a x721 EPROM, with slight revisions to some of the maps (earlier versions x590, x631, 16V x527)
