And that only happened because it fell backwards when the guy sitting in it stood up.

The New Madrid fault line runs through my farm in Arkansas, the last one we had did tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage to the surrounding area, mostly Elvis and Dale dishes....

New Madrid was one of the largest US earthquake in history, I think. At least that's what the figure from the geology, there weren't many people there at the time (early 1800s). A repeat of that quake in that location would do major, major damage due to the number of old unreinforced brick and stone buildings in that area of the continent.

A 928 in Chile?! Cool! I really like your country, Nando! I've been down there twice on ski trips (Valle Nevado and Portillo). Ever take your car up las curvas on the way up to Valle Nevado? (We need a "puking" or a "head spinning" smilie for this situation...)

Default Proof that the quake wasn't squat....

That's a funny pic, but I doubt it was even enough to knock that chair over.
Just before he went to bed on Thursday night my youngest son built 4 card houses. I have no idea what possessed him to do that, as he's never done it before. He told his older brother that if any were knocked down in the morning that he'd know it was his brother, because "what else could it be?"
I dunno, maybe an earthquake?
Anyway, all 4 card houses were still standing in the morning, so these reports of cracking trees and items falling off the shelves as far away as Leesburg VA was a bunch of sensationalism.
We're only about 10 miles from the epicenter.

Bill,
Are you farther along w/your RS4 than your avatar indicates?
Still thinking about getting it to Frenzy? If so, I'd like to put up a little blurb on the website. Tom Falkenberg is likely going to have Big Bird there and it would be really cool to have the two side by side.
928s don't make good track cars? Baloney!

It is something to see it from the air, the sunken lands, the sand blows, Reelfoot lake.

When the next one happens the city of Memphis will be gone, as will many others.

We used to get small tremors that would break windows and crack walls.

It will make Katrina look like nothing.

That's the current progress however there are a bunch of other stuff that's done but not bolted on. I am still planning on bringing it to Frenzy... that would be very cool. Let me know what you'd need for a blurb. Send me a PM and we can discuss. I'm going to have to pick up the pace...
