I was just thinking the same thing.
I've only had my car for a few years and even in that short span of time there has been an explosion of aftermarket replacement and add-ons for the 928 that have never existed before.
Between developments in the everyday operation (chips and chip programmers and tuning systems, tensioners, water pumps, belts, bushings, fuel line kits, carputers, dash setups, shifters...) to the advancement of technology (off the shelf cams, head mods, oiling options, SCs (in several flavors) a turbo setup, intake mods, several air filter configurations, fuel pressure/chip combos, crossover and dual exhaust options...) to the development of new tools to keep the cars tuned and running well (liftbars, blink'r, cam timing tool, sharktuner, etc).
Finally, and the biggest part of it: The 928 community here. From the incredible vendors to the extremely knowledgeable (and patient) experts on here to the average guys who are always around and willing to help out in any way they can. If it weren't for this site there's no way I could have a reliable 928 to jump in and cruise around any time I want.
It's a great time to have a 928!
