I was just talking to Jeannie tonight as she was shipping me my back-ordered items. Did you know, Jeannie answers the phone 95% of the time? Did you know she's the one who gets the emails? Did you know she's the one who orders parts? Did you know she's the one who receives the shipments? Did you know she's the one fills the orders? Did you know she's the one who packs the orders up and ships them out?

Now, I know DR is a busy man too, but Jeannie is the glue that holds things together there. When I learned all that she does there, I gained a new appreciation for what she does.

At SITM, I challenged everyone who attended to buy their next $500 of parts from Dave and Jeannie. Without 928 Specialist, there is no SITM which is without a doubt, THE BEST 928 PARTY! If you ever need a part (even if it's not on the website) or have a question about an order, call them. Their number is 828-766-9280.

They're good people. I love them.

Oh yeah... Boobies!

She will dress out at 300 by the time she is 40, but damn if I am not getting stupid right now.

And DR and Jeannie sent me parts today, got them at 10:05 this morning, ordered them yesterday.

Lets keep this on track here guys.
My biggest problem with 928SP is sometimes DR answers the phone and I say "Hey Honey", just before he speaks.

I recently dealt with a tradesman who had printed on the bottom of his invoice" If you are happy, tell your friends, if you are not happy, tell me"

I've only dealt with 928 Specialists once, but I was very impressed with Jeannie, getting someone capable and knowledgable on the other end of an international phone call is a reassuring thing. All parts delivered in a timely and efficient manner, what more can you ask for.

Thanks 928 Specialists

Cheers Roy

+928 to everything above!

Dave & Jeannie (and also Pam in the past) are what the best definition of "family" there is: even if there is time or distance separating you- you look forward to talking to them; can't wait to see them again; they have your best interests at heart & have got your back; even if it's been years between contacts, it's like you never missed a beat!

I have always been able to count on them for anything... even some obscure 911 or 944 parts that were part of the 928's parts list but infrequently encountered. In fact, I would say 99.99% of the time the part in question is able to be found!

For 928 Specialists to be a family business & manned by Dave & Jeannie ONLY (for the most part)- their level of service, satisfaction & expertise rivals that of much larger companies... including most Porsche dealerships!

Thank you for everything you do for us!

Uh... if we didn't make it to SITM, can we still buy our next $500 of parts from Dave and Jeannie? Or, is this some sort of deal only open to those who could attend? If it is open to everybody, are we limited to $500? What if I need more stuff.

Your contest rules are not very clear.

Sorry. The $500 was a minimum level for attendees ONLY! For non-attendiees the minimum is $1,000. Purchases must be made before next year's SITM. Hopefully, that clears things up a bit.

I'll put my 2 cents in as well. I've probably bought parts in the equivalent cost of a nice '88 or so S4 from David and Jeannie over the past 10 years. Occasional back orders, and or a slow delivery from their suppliers, but excellent service on their part. On one or two occasions, when Jeannie knew she could NOT get the part I wanted in the time I needed it, she would recommend that I contact one of the other 928 specific suppliers to see if they could get it. Sometimes they could, sometimes they couldn't, but I appreciated the straightforward customer treatment. And - I've enjoyed every SITM I've been able to attend.

Default Thank You Jeannie & Dave

I’d like to thank Jeannie and DR for hosting the best 928 events I’ve ever attended. They welcome everyone with open arms. If you haven’t been… you just would understand. Following are a few pictures of our gracious hosts.

In the spirit of AO challenge… my next upgrade is going to be asset of those shiny red sway bars as soon as I can scrounge up enough change (and wait for the line to die down some). After seeing how they were made in person… I couldn’t imagine using anything else.

I've challenged them for the past month to take my $500, but I can't seem to get any swaybars.

DR, where are you on swaybars?

On the swaybars, you can not sell, what you can not get.

I am sure DR would love to get more of them, but my understanding is that they are just not to be had.

Default Long Time Customer

Bought my 928 going on 10 years ago, didn't even know about Rennlist when I bought it. First order from 928 Specialists was placed the day the car arrived from the shipper, timing belt job. Fast shipment, great prices, exceptional advice and it hasn't stopped! Then the great parties.....doesn't get any better!!!
